Moppy [link] made me a website button. It's pretty spiffy! Since I have no idea what happend to my old one, and it's so cool, Imma use it now. I've been sketching like crazy but can't get up the urge to color. -.- Been working on the art for a LOTR fanzine ima gonna be illustrating and a few other random things, but i don't want to upload anymore sketchy crap until i actually *finish* something.

Argh, it's been ages since i updated this journal-y thing! My art's been a bit back-burner lately cause i blew out my right ankle joint and so i've had ages of physical therapy on top of 40 hr work weeks and stuff. The good news is i've got all but one of my commissions completely done! I just finished the last Acen one, and as soon as i get a sexy modern Legolas done for Sandy on the house, to make up for the amount of time it took me to get her nakkie Jack and will done (no i won't be uploading that here...go to my website if you're that horribly curious...) i'll be caught up! Yay! This is why i haven't had a chance to comment on a lot of you wonderful ppl's stuff. I've really meant too... Everyone i'm watching is so great! I need to make a props list...hmm, *makes note to self*

Anywho, The bad news is i've decided to put commissions on hold for a while. I'm graduating from college with my art degree in a semester and i think it's time i started concentrating on my original manga. I really need something substantial for my portfolio once i start job hunting. I think i might have a 3-D thing lined up, but 3-D art isn't my schnick. I'm *good* at it...did my thesis in it, but i don't *like* it much. -.- I can't imagine spending my life with vectors and animation paths. Maya is a pain in the *ass* for all the neat stuff it can do.... erg, maybe i should upload some of my Maya stuff later. *makes note to self* anyway... most stuff from me will be original from here on out. Once i get a lot done, i'll probably start posting it on keenspace or something, and you guys will definitely get things like cover and chapter art. I'm not gonna stop drawing. ^^ I also have a commitment for the drawings for a LOTRzine later in the year.

I'm sure i'll keep getting sucked into fandoms occasionally and smatterings of fanart will show up, but i'm probably gonna be pretty scarce for the forseeable future. I'm sorry, and i love you all! *glomp*

Just got back from c-kon. Did exceedingly well. Sorry, but i have to close commissions as well as art trades. I've got enough to keep me busy for a while. ^^ I'll open them up again soon though.
